Jacqueline Marie SWIFT

Jacqueline Marie Swift, 92, of Edmonton, Alberta formally from Truro, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 17, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucy LeBlanc.

Jacqueline is survived by daughters Patricia Farmer (Charles) of Kincardine, Ontario, Rose-marie Hoffman (Herb) of Edmonton, Alberta, son Timothy Hoffman (Philomena) of Kitchener, Ontario. Sister Patricia Toole (Joseph) of Brookfield, NS, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her grandparents, she was predeceased by her daughter Nancy McNamee (James) of Kincardine, Ontario, brothers, Ivan, Laurie, Rene, Edward, Raymond, Roger, and Gerald. Sisters Lorraine Legroud, and Doris Mayurik. She is survived by her sister-in-law Doris LeBlanc and Joan LeBlanc and many nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline worked at Scotiabank until her retirement. She enjoyed her bridge group, golf and golf friends, bowling and especially reading.

Cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral service by request.

    So very sorry to hear of this wonderful lady. We played golf with her many times at Ainsdale golf course, she was the kindest lady and always had such a great sense of humor and such a great laugh. She will be missed greatly.
