Catherine Velma VIENNEAU

Catherine (Cathy) Velma Vienneau (Cote) passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Mach 28 at 9:45 PM.

Cathy was born in North Bay Ontario on June 10, 1960. She had a successful Hairstyling business in both Ontario and Alberta. On November 24,1977she married Daniel Vienneau, together they raised 2 children David and Christina.

Cathy enjoyed many things, but family was by far her greatest joy. She had a love for music, especially country and the great outdoors. So many memories of camping with friends and family will be forever cherished.

Cathy enjoyed cooking with a glass of wine and taking care of her beloved pets. When she wasn’t cooking Cathy enjoyed taking care of her flower beds or sitting outside soaking up some sun.

Catherine is preceded by both her mother Melva and Raymond Cote. She is survived by her loving husband Dan and her children David (Marcy) and Christina (Dustin). Along with her 5 grandchildren Jade, Caydance, Gabe, Chad (Kelly), and Braeden. Dear sister to Susanne (Pat), Paul (Ingrid), Greg (Cindy), Bill (Karen) and Cindy (Jake). Also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cathy’s family are extremely grateful for the wonderful and compassionate care she received from the nurses, aides, and staff at countless hospitals. The generous kindness shown to Catherine and the rest of the family was so appreciated as a special gift at a most difficult time.

To Cathy’s beautiful family I offer you my sincere sympathy. I have been praying for Cathy for months. I taught her in elementary school in North Cobalt and loved her from the first meeting. I am so sorry that she has suffered a terrible cancer death and I am feeling relief that her pain is no longer. May she rest in peace. Thank you for taking such good care of my friend.
