Katherine Marie Tracy WOLFEL
If you are about to throw away a pink or white light, STOP. Consider Katherine Marie Tracy Wolfel (you probably referred to her as Kathy) who drifted peacefully away to the afterlife at 55 years old on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Her love is carried on by her children Sky, Faith, Zack, Levi, Chancer, and Noah. Her laughter continues to be heard through her grandchildren Astraea, Lara, Bretton, Elissa, Chloe, Aurelia, Lucas, and Abigail. Her strength can be witnessed in her siblings Ray, Kimmy, and R.J. and her smile shines through her parents Ray and Judy. Additionally, her memory is carried on through her many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Kathy blessed her loved ones with many lessons during her 55 years of life, among them: never waste the “gold”, always say I love you when you leave or keep ALL the school projects from your children and grandchildren.
Also: Let a cat (or two or three) share your bed.
Say hello to strangers you never know whose day you will make.
When going to work, always put your hair in a tight bun.
Keep driving comfortable by using two pillows on your seat.
If you are going to spend your money, get your money’s worth, do not throw it away until it falls apart or keep change in your shoe for luck.
Kathy embodied the meaning of unconditional love. She never, ever said no to anyone that needed love, support, or someone to talk to. Throughout her life, she helped many teens through struggles in their upbringing.
Her love for wolves and elephants is reflected in the collection of keepsakes that her family has decided to hold on to in memory of her.
Kathy was an avid music lover. She and her family members spent many hours listening to all types of music together. From rap to classical Kathy loved to sing, dance, and reminisce through music.
Kathy was known for her dramatic flair and love of life. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room. Kathy’s humor, kindness, and stories will always be remembered.
Kathy may be forever gone but will forever be remembered in the hearts of her loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Strathearn Hall, 9511-90 Street from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
