Connie died after a brief illness in hospital at the age of 85. She is survived by her son Randy, and three grandchildren Noah, Gabrielle, and Brooklyn. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Elsie Fink, brothers Edgar, Alvin, and Wilfrid, and sisters Elvera (Vera) and Loreen.
